We are Jo & Howard, a couple in their 50s and 60s who are based in Bristol in the U.K. We took early retirement from our jobs a while back and decided to sign up to living life to the full instead. We count ourselves fortunate to be able to enjoy all the great things on offer from food, music to theatre that are right on our doorstep but also to be able to travel far and wide to see new sights, taste new things and just learn more about the world, past and present. For some time, we have thought about writing a blog but as more friends started pestering us to go ahead and just do it, here we are finally getting it up and running!
Some things that Jo likes…..
Cheese, marmite (sometimes together), the west coast of Scotland, single malt whisky (nearly always enjoyed together), the Times Cryptic crossword, wonderful wildlife spotting (you just can’t beat those puffins), Tottenham Hotspur (COYS!), medieval piazzas.
Some things that Jo is not so keen on….
Too much pappy puree on plates, new world hops overkill in my IPA, hoovering, Spurs losing.
